Hamza Yardımcıoğlu deciphers Freemasonry’s esoteric origins starting with Hiram Abiff, its connections to the Quran and Torah, its secret roles in global politics, and its ultimate goals on Anahtar TV.

Masonik Sır! - Hamza Yardımcıoğlu - Ömer Can Talu

Istanbul – An organization whispered about in the dusty pages of history, at the center of conspiracy theories, and in the corridors of global power: Freemasonry. This structure, which has maintained its mystery for hundreds of years and aroused curiosity with its symbols and rituals, has once again taken center stage with the striking statements made by researcher and author Hamza Yardımcıoğlu on Anahtar TV. Yardımcıoğlu claims that Freemasonry is not just a “fraternal organization,” but that its roots go much deeper, even into sacred texts and extraterrestrial connections. So, what is this Freemasonry? Who is the Masons’ “Grand Master” Hiram Abiff? And, as Yardımcıoğlu claims, could these secrets be hidden in the Holy Quran and the Torah?

Hiram Abiff: A Builder, or a “Jinn”?

Yardımcıoğlu begins by stating that the key to the Masonic knot lies with Hiram Abiff. He suggests that Hiram Abiff, whose role in the construction of Solomon’s Temple is detailed in Jewish sacred texts (Tanakh), particularly in the Book of 1 Kings, was not an ordinary craftsman. While 1 Kings chapter 7 (verses 13-45) describes the basins, shovels, bowls, and pillars made by Hiram, Yardımcıoğlu draws a surprising parallel, pointing to the Holy Quran, specifically Surah Saba, verses 12 and 13.

According to Yardımcıoğlu, Surah Saba speaks of beings working under the command of Prophet Solomon, making for him “what he willed of sanctuaries, statues, basins like reservoirs, and stationary kettles,” and identifies these beings as “jinn.” Yardımcıoğlu makes a paradigm-shifting claim: “While Hebrew texts mention the name Hiram and the work he did, the Quran speaks of the same event and team without naming names, referring to them as ‘jinn.’ From this, we understand that Hiram Abiff was a jinn, meaning an extraterrestrial being.”

Taking this claim further, Yardımcıoğlu compares the passage in the Torah’s 2 Chronicles 8:18, which describes Hiram sending Solomon “seafaring servants” who brought gold, with the Quran’s Surah Anbiya, verse 82. Noting that this verse mentions “devils who dived for him [Solomon] and did work besides that,” Yardımcıoğlu, along with the statement in Surah Sad, verse 37 (“And the devils, every builder and diver”), argues that the “seafaring” Hiram and his men in the Torah are identified as “diving jinn/devils” in the Quran.

At this point, Yardımcıoğlu also refers to Surah Baqarah, verse 102, stating that the phrases “They followed what the devils recited during Solomon’s reign… those devils… taught people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut” point to esoteric organizations associated with grimoires like the Key of Solomon. According to Yardımcıoğlu, these beings identified as “jinn” are actually extraterrestrial entities with genetic compatibility with humans, capable of interbreeding to create a hybrid race.

Symbols Speak: Traces from the French Revolution to the Dollar

Yardımcıoğlu states that Masonic symbolism is not confined to lodge walls but is engraved onto historical turning points and official state documents. He cites the famous painting by Jean-Jacques-François Le Barbier depicting the “Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen” issued after the 1789 French Revolution. He draws attention to the figure of a man freed from chains standing next to an angel bringing light, and at the top, the famous “All-Seeing Eye” symbol within a pyramid.

“This eye,” says Yardımcıoğlu, “is the most well-known Masonic symbol and also appears on the US Dollar. The new era that began with the French Revolution is known as the ‘Enlightenment.’ This word comes from the same root as ‘Illumination’ and ‘Illuminati’; they all mean ‘Light.’ The angel figure bringing ‘Light’ in the painting is actually Lucifer, meaning the Devil, Satan. It’s the same archetype as Prometheus in mythology stealing fire (light) from the gods and bringing it to humans.”

Tracing this concept of the “Light Bringer,” Yardımcıoğlu points to the name of the street in Istanbul’s Beyoğlu district where the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Turkey is located: Nuri Ziya Street. “Nuri Ziya,” says Yardımcıoğlu, “has Arabic origins and means ‘Brightness of Light’ or ‘Light Bringer.’ So even the street where the Masonic lodge is located is a reference to Lucifer.”

Highlighting the US Dollar as one of the most prominent examples of this symbolism, Yardımcıoğlu reminds us that the date “MDCCLXXVI” (1776) at the base of the pyramid signifies not only the American Declaration of Independence but also the founding year of the Illuminati. He notes that another symbol on the dollar, the eagle holding an olive branch and arrows in its talons, appeared on an ancient coin found in the Temple of Apollo in Diyarbakır long before America was founded. Yardımcıoğlu claims that powerful families like the Rockefellers and diplomats made special visits to this temple, and he has heard rumors of private rituals being conducted there at night, arguing that these symbols and locations are not coincidental but part of a deep-rooted, secret plan.

From New Atlantis to Ottoman Archives: A Global Network

Yardımcıoğlu claims that Masonic ideals also lie behind the founding philosophy of the United States. Referring to the famous Masonic master Francis Bacon’s work “The New Atlantis,” he says this book inspired the founding of America and serves as the Masons’ “secret constitution.” He states that the story Bacon tells in the book—about an island people, technologically and culturally advanced, hidden from the world, who established a civilization based on the teachings of Jesus Christ—actually depicts a Masonic utopia. “America’s founding fathers were also Masons, and they called their newly founded country the ‘New Atlantis’,” says Yardımcıoğlu. He even goes further, claiming that Francis Bacon was actually Shakespeare, that the name “Shakespeare” was a pseudonym and an anagram meaning “spear-shaker.”

Stating that Masonic influence was not limited to the West but left deep marks on the Ottoman Empire as well, Yardımcıoğlu highlights the findings of Ömer Can Talu, who was a guest on the show and researched Freemasonry in the Ottoman archives. According to Ömer Can Talu’s research, the first document in the Ottoman Empire mentioning the word “Mason” dates back to 1786 and concerns Grand Vizier Halil Hamid Pasha. It is alleged that the Pasha organized Masons within the bureaucracy, and he was eventually executed on Easter day. A poem written afterward contains the phrase “farmason bednesep” (baseborn Freemason). In another document dated 1798, Gümrükçü Mehmet Esat Ağa writes that if he becomes Grand Vizier again, he will “squeeze the life out of the Freemasons.”

Ömer Can Talu relates that Ottoman intelligence monitored Masonic lodges, reporting that they organized balls to raise funds for rebels (eşkiya) in Crete. He even mentions a letter sent to the Sultan by a Turkish official in Egypt (written anonymously under a pseudonym for fear of his life), stating that 80% of the officials in Egypt had been co-opted by British-backed Masons, and he feared even the couriers delivering the letter might be Masons. Yardımcıoğlu emphasizes that these documents show how early and how powerfully Freemasonry was organized in the Ottoman Empire. It is added as a known fact that the Committee of Union and Progress (İttihat ve Terakki) also held its meetings in Masonic lodges and that most of its members were Masons.

Atatürk and Freemasonry: Closed Lodges and Unanswered Questions

The discussion on the show also touched upon whether Atatürk was a Mason. Ömer Can Talu stated that until the 2000s, Masons portrayed Atatürk as one of their own, but since they couldn’t provide primary source evidence (official archival documents), many lodges have now abandoned this claim. Although there are memoirs suggesting Atatürk visited a lodge in his youth or was briefly a member, no definitive document exists.

Yardımcıoğlu and Ömer Can Talu emphasize that the crucial point is Atatürk’s closure of all Masonic lodges in Turkey in 1935, confiscating their assets and transferring them to the People’s Houses (Halkevleri). This is described as an event rarely seen in world history, apart from actions by the Papacy. It is even rumored that a Russian Mason said upon this event, “That blonde leader must absolutely be killed.” Yardımcıoğlu draws a parallel between this closure and the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy after his attempt to transfer the authority to print US dollars from the Federal Reserve (which Yardımcıoğlu considers under Masonic control) to the Treasury Department, suggesting it reveals the attitude of secret structures towards leaders who challenge them. Allegations of Atatürk being poisoned are also mentioned but noted as “conspiracy theories.”

The Ultimate Goal: Rebuilding the Temple and One World Order

So, what do all these different names (Masons, Illuminati, Knights Templar, Black Sun, Rosicrucians…) and symbols mean? Yardımcıoğlu claims they are not independent structures but links in the same chain, nested layers, with a core structure at the very top, referred to as “Blue Blood,” who consider themselves to possess special genetics.

According to Yardımcıoğlu, the ultimate goal of these structures is very clear: the rebuilding of Solomon’s Temple. However, this is not just a religious goal. Yardımcıoğlu makes a shocking conclusion: “The Temple will be the world’s administrative center. The world will be ruled from a single center. And the real feature of the Temple is that it is a dimensional portal, an interstellar ‘Stargate.’ Who will come through it? The Jinn, meaning the fallen angels, meaning the Anunnaki, meaning the Extraterrestrials! The gate that Dhu al-Qarnayn closed will be reopened, and world domination will pass to these beings. That’s the story.”

Yardımcıoğlu argues that evaluating events solely through worldly logic is misleading, suggesting that phrases like “a wind whose morning course was a month’s journey and evening course was a month’s journey” in Surah Saba point to concepts beyond our understanding, perhaps like distortions of time and space.

Contemporary Traces: Magic, Alchemy, and Symbols in the Heart of Finance

Yardımcıoğlu and Ömer Can Talu state that Freemasonry is not just a historical phenomenon but continues its influence today. They relate that the Ottoman historian Asım Efendi wrote in his work “Tarih-i Asım” about a Freemason who had studied “magic, jugglery, and alchemy” in Europe and entered the ranks of the Hassa Silahşörleri (Sultan’s Personal Guard) with the help of Masons in Istanbul. Yardımcıoğlu adds that old issues of the Masonic magazine Mimar Sinan contain drawings of “vefk” (a type of talismanic magic).

Finally, attention is drawn to Masonic symbols found on some major bank buildings in Istanbul. The statue of Hiram Abiff and the Widow on top of one bank building, and the “Widow’s Sons” and especially the “Golden Calf” statues in the courtyard of another major bank’s tower are cited as examples. Yardımcıoğlu concludes, “Economy, politics, religion, mythology… They are all intertwined. The Golden Calf is the idol worshipped by the Israelites in the desert. What is this statue doing in the heart of a financial center? Everything is connected.”

Hamza Yardımcıoğlu’s claims will undoubtedly continue to generate debate. However, the documents he presents, the comparisons he makes, and the connections he draws invite audiences and readers to question the hidden history behind the visible and potential global agendas. The veil of Freemasonry seems to have been lifted through Yardımcıoğlu’s interpretation, but the secrets behind it still await full unraveling.
