Prayer for Malaria (Fever) and Pain

The Prophet’s (peace be upon him) Recommended Prayer

Arabic Text of the Prayer
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الْكَبِيرِ نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
مِنْ شَرِّ عِرْقٍ نَعَّارٍ
وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَرٍّ نَارِ
Transliteration
Bismillāhil-kabīri naʿūzu billāhil-ʿaẓīmi
min sharri ʿirqin naʿʿārin
wa min sharri ḥarrin nāri
Meaning
“In the name of the Great Allah. We seek refuge in Allah, the Magnificent, from the harm of a throbbing vein and from the harm of searing heat.”
